One of the highlights for Educator Aaron this term has been visiting the many small country schools that are full of character, community spirit and unique learning experiences. Every visit brings something different, making each day an opportunity to connect with students in meaningful and memorable ways.

From making homemade chicken soup using vegetables grown in the school garden, to meeting donkeys and camels, and even coming across an angry blue-tongue lizard, these experiences help bring health and wellbeing learning to life. The creativity, enthusiasm and strong sense of community in our country schools continue to make them a special part of the Our Healthy Kids program.
